No Matter, There

I’ve made contact with a Middle School 190 miles further south in our Susquehanna River Watershed. This Spring, both schools will be researching and collecting data on the Susquehanna, and I am hoping to help our students, and our faculty, connect.

I want our students to update the data from our original watershed study, but with their own, current web presence. Now, with another school willing to connect with us, I’m wondering whether a blog or a wiki would be best, so we can communicate. I just heard about Drupal, which looks beautiful, but I am worried about a learning curve and the need to organize a hosting site.

My first attempt to get the Middle Schoolers blogging is just getting underway–permission slips are getting returned and students are logging in for the first time. Seeing these kids only once a week, things take time. I have to have patience!
